The Story of ‘Dear Sister’
When I became Catholic, one of my deepest desires was to connect with other women of faith—women who could walk with me, challenge me, and inspire me to grow in God’s will. That longing became Dear Sister, a Catholic women’s correspondence club built on the belief that we are not meant to walk this journey alone.
The inspiration comes from Mary and Elizabeth in the Visitation—two women, each carrying something sacred, who rejoiced and strengthened each other in the midst of uncertainty. Like them, we are called to encourage one another to be brave, faithful, and open to God’s will, even when it’s difficult or inconvenient. This is what Dear Sister is about: creating intentional, prayerful connections between Catholic women around the world.
Whether you’re a convert, cradle Catholic, religious sister, mother, single woman, or seeker, Dear Sister offers a tailored pen pal experience based on your vocation, age, stage of faith, and your personal hopes for friendship. Each match is made by hand—because real connection deserves real care.
How Does the Correspondence Club Work?
We match Catholic women around the world in spiritual sisterhoods—uniting them in prayer, encouragement, and the joy of sharing their faith journey by hand and heart. Our Catholic women’s pen pals program is designed to nurture meaningful connections through the timeless art of Catholic letter writing. Whether you’re looking for faith-filled friendship, deeper prayer life support, or simply a kindred spirit, our Catholic women’s group is here for you.
The Process:
- We personally match you with a pen pal based on your background, preferences, and spiritual goals.
- You’ll be introduced to your pen pal via email and can then decide whether to exchange mailing addresses if you’re comfortable.
- You’re free to correspond as often or as little as you like—this is a gentle, grace-filled connection on your terms.
